Faster start up?

I sent my new computer back because I was having to many problems with it. In the meantime while I'm waiting for another one I hooked my old one back up. I ran this thing called eraser on it (because I didn't think I was going to use it again) and for some reason it starts real slow. It didn't use to. So I tried all the regular things like defragment, disc cleanup, error check, msconfig, and it still starts slow. Is there anything else I can try or am I just out of luck?

WOWFactor - Don't think for a second that others besides myself find your lack of the ability to type correctly annoying.

Personally I find your jibes at others more annoying. Don't see what they have to do with the subject of the thread. And I'm sure that WOWFactor will be pleased to here that no-one besides you finds his/her typing annoying.

Zero - I have read the rules many times as I have been a member of this site for a few years. But I believe Jafo pointed out in another thread that you don't have to post in every thread.

Then I would point out Kona, that Jafo and I are the ones to discuss that..you have absolutely nothing to do with what is said between Jafo and I..also..I believe Jafo himself has demonstrated that he has the ability to speak for himself..Quite well actually..Please leave his words for him to speak...

Well, actually, I find both Wowfactor's typing and Kona's disparaging comments annoying...

I had some talks with some of the Admins and I realize I was being very chilish. It is not my place to tell others how to act on the boards.

So:

Zero: I would like to apoligize for jumping on you about your posting on the boards. You have every right to post what you wish and where you wish. I realize I was out of line. I am very sorry.

WOWFactor: I would like to apoligize for posting about the way you type out you responses in every thread you respond to. It is not my job to tell others how to type. I am sorry.

I just want to get along with people. I will try harder to keep myself in line.

People have the right to post on any thread that they want to. The only people who have the right to intervene are: the original creator of the thread and the admins/moderators. Otherwise, it's viewed as harassment.

If somebody annoys you, don't read what they write, and don't interact with them. As in "real" life, not everyone will like each other, but that doesn't give anyone the right to start harassing each other.

Back on topic, were you able to get you PC working the way you wanted it to, Richard?

Im impressed, it takes an effort to apologize like that publically, I know, I have done it myself. I'll accept it Kona, thank you.
